US tennis star feels some people don’t want Black players to succeed

The American tennis star told of how she “thought the people of our generation were on top of the world but some people don’t share that happiness”.

She said: “We all started at the bottom. That’s how life works. But even if you are going to go that far, you can’t be happy if you’re down there.

“Happiness is something that only comes from being on top. That is not how life works, even if you are the best at something.”

She also said she saw the “world as a big place and the world is not divided by anything but you have to be prepared to take it all on.”

Black athletes have been dominating sports at every level but sometimes fail to be accepted by the rest of society.

There are many examples of African-Americans dominating sports. Yet many people are still unable to relate to African-American athletes and their achievements.

Rolando Gatto and his team at Adidas have gone back to basics with this new ad.

The new ad features NBA stars like Jason Kidd, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

It also features a young man who is playing basketball for the first time in his life.

The story was told by Dr John Barnes, who is a professor at Harvard Business School.

Dr Barnes said he hoped the ad could serve as a model for Black businesses to be more inclusive.

He told the BBC: “Obviously the market is different in terms of where it’s being targeted.”

“The one thing it illustrates is the strength of business.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re Black, white, Asian – anyone can come to Adidas and we will serve you.”

“I’ve been thinking about this from a historical perspective and the strength of the consumer today is that it’s global,” he said.

“In the past, we had the ‘American Dream’. People who were willing to work hard and go to college and get good jobs in areas of the economy that allowed them to get to America were going to end up in America.”

“But there’s a whole bunch of people with a very specific dream – the dream of America, the dream to be in America, the dream to build businesses and grow their businesses and have a decent life.
