1950's Ideal BETSY WETSY doll WRIST hang TAG 4th Issue (Reproduction)
This listing is for an exact color REPRODUCTION of the original wrist hang tag for the BETSY WETSY doll made by the Ideal doll company from 1954 to 1957.    This tag usually came in the box with the Betsy Wetsy with the hard plastic head.   The Ideal company used a similiar tag in yellow for their first tag for the 1954 Betsy Wetsy and this was the 2nd tag.    This tag was even used on the vinyl headed( with Saran rooted hair) dolls of 1956.   Some of these 1956 dolls came in layette boxes with 2 tags ( this reddish one and an oval pink and blue tag).   There are 6 other tags that go with other versions of Betsy Wetsy dolls.  There is printing on both sides of this tag with a photo of Betsy on the front.  The back side of this tag just shows drawings of Betsy being bathed, drinking, weeping, cooing and of course wetting and sleeping.    This tag is made on Professional acid free card stock.   This tag is historically accurate(the same size , color and shape etc. of my original tag).    I have made this tag to look very slightly aged to match your vintage doll.
( I have added photos of Betsy Wetsy dolls from 1954-1957, just for your reference).   (DOLLS are NOT for Sale).   This tag is a great reference or replacement item for your doll collection.
