    Description

This is an old stock unused advertising tin for Madam Blumer's egg saver.  Designed to replace eggs, consumer would mix with some flour and use it in breads and cooking, good for subsitutions in vintage recipes.  Circa 1910, this product was disigned to replace two dozen eggs.  Sides are cardboard and top and bottom are metal. Measures 2.75 x 1.25 inches.  Perhaps for a farmer's wife if the chickens were sick, or city homes.  Has some rust on the bottom and light stains as shown, for display collecting only.  Estate find.
