I'm not an expert on Chinese embroidery but definitely a fan. If we have had prior lives I definitely lived in China and had something to do with embroidery. The rank badges used in this purse are not the typical ones with birds or animals on them. This one has a Peony front and center. But badges were made for birthdays and other occasions. Lined in black silk. There are a few loose stitches but overall it's in very good condition. Lined in a beautiful blue silk which does have a hole in it. About 5 1/2 inches by 5 3/4 inches.
