    Description

An antique 19th century Qing Chinese embroidered silk robe made from red jacquard silk. The robe has 5 closures, two at the neck and three on the side with decorative cast brass buttons. The sleeve bands are embroidered on the back with scenes of people and nature using the forbidden stitch embroidery technique.
    Condition:
This robe is in reasonably good condition overall with some flaws to note. It is structurally sound other than the lining inside the collar. It is a bit dirty / dusty from storage.
    - The red silk fabric is faded to orange in some areas on the front and back. These spots can easily be seen in the pictures.
    -There are some small holes.
-The silk lining inside the collar is damaged and falling out as can be seen in the pictures.
-There are some stains on the cream sleeve bands.
-The robe is unlined, I suspect there was originally lining that was removed at some point.
    Chest: 28 inches measures flat
    Length: 37 inches
