2x Olympian and World Silver Medalist Mike Foy purchased Dragon Inn Restaurant in early 2005. He was taught the ancient art of Mandarin Style Cooking by Master Chef Chang. He was dubbed Blackanese because of his devotion to learn the old style of cooking and adhere to Chinese tradition and culture. Olympian Mike Foy knew the only way he could satisfy the taste of more people was by commercializing his sauces. Hence, Chef Blackanese was born. These limited edition bobblehead was made to commemorate the amazing journey of Michial and his family. By focusing in on their similarities they fused together their American culture with Chinese Culture and cultivating a lifelong friendship between the two families while serving thousands.
