    Original
    antique "Map Prepared to exhibit the Campaigns in which the Army of the Cumberland Took part during the War of the Rebellion." There are several editions of this map. This one has name of Lithographer (Julius Bien), it is
    not
    the one with Relief shown by the use of hachures;
    it has scale of 1 inch to 20 miles (not the edition with scale of 1 inch to 10 miles). This map measures approx. 27 x 32 inches. Reverse side has extensive old tape repair marks (see scans).
    Note
    : just had the old "masking tape" repairs removed and repaired with modern archival tape. There is a slight tear at upper left corner (see scan); some tiny holes (gone over with archival tapes); paper toned and slightly fragile. Also has 3 x 4 inch piece missing at bottom left corner (see scan). Not really certain as to when this map was actually published (1865 or 1884?). I'm sure one of you Civil War map collectors will know more about this item than I do, so I welcome any questions; just email.
