    Description

    The Costa Rica 1,000 Colones Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 2019 and printed on polymer. Its obverse features Costa Rican politician Braulio Carrillo Colina and the State of Costa Rica coat of arms. It also shows the outline map of the country in color-changing ink. The reverse depicts a white-tailed deer, a Guanacaste tree, and a Costa Rican Pitahaya cactus flower with a dry forest in the background. It has a simulated security thread. It has a clear window watermark with a patterned design and a portrait of Braulio Carrillo Colina. The note measures 125 x 67 mm and is signed by Rodrigo Cubero Brealey and Eduardo Prado Zuniga. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
