    Description

    This uncirculated 20,000 Costa Rican colon banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica that is dated 19 September 2012 and signed by Rodrigo Bolaños Zamora and Felix Delgado Quesada. It is an orange note that measures 153 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a fox and a hare, a map of Costa Rica in OVI, and a portrait of Maria Isabel Carvajal (Carmen Lyra). Its reverse side depicts a Chispita hummingbird (Selasphorus flammula) flying over a field with papelillo flowers. Security features include a motion windowed security thread, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Carmen Lyra with an electrotype 20000.
