Description
LOT OF 2 BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANELS!Up for the auction is a lot of 2
beautiful antique from the late 19th century Qi’ing dynasty Chinese silk panels. One is a red silk panel embroidered with boys playing on a landscape with blooming plants and flowers, the other is a small brocade silk panel woven with Phoenix bird. I believe that the red panel used to be of a larger size and the woven Phoenix panel was a part of a female garment.
The embroidery executed in fine satin stitches.
Extremely finely worked pieces- just look at the pictures!
CONDITION:

THE RED SILK EMBROIDERY IS IN POOR CONDITION WITH MULTIPLE TEARING, SEPARATION, STAINING, AND FADING; STILL A VERY RARE COLLECTABLE PIECE! PLEASE, KEEP IN MIND THE VERY OLD AGE OF THE PIECES.
