    Description

    Listed here is a rare pair of Chinese bound feet /lotus shoes. These tiny examples are in the Fujian/Taiwanese style. Shoes this tiny are not seen often. They are in a pleasing color with contrasting satin stitch embroidery. The pair has condition issues, ie much rubbing to the silk which has worn away in spots on the outside. Please see the photos as I have tried to show the wear and loss clearly. As you can see they are very small indeed measuring slightly less than 3 inches on the soles. Depsite the condition they still display nicely and are good examples of the tiniest of the shoe styles seen in all of Chinese foot binding. Good item for collectors.
