Vintage Chinese Black Silk Jewel Tone Damask Weave Butterfly Brocade Dress Fabric
This vintage Chinese black silk jewel tone damask weave butterfly brocade dress fabric dates from the 1950s. It is made of a black silk satin sheen colorful jewel tone striped damask weave brocade fabric with a woven floral butterfly design. This beautiful butterfly brocade fabric would have perhaps been used to create a traditional Chinese cheongsam qipao dress, or custom made clothing. The fabric measures 34 inches wide and there are 2 yards ready to be upcycled created into something new. It is in good condition, cut asymmetrical on each end with frayed edgings. This is truly a wonderful piece of Chinese butterfly fabric art!
