    Vintage Ideal Toy Company Lot of 2 Betsy Wetsy 12 Inch Dolls Marked VW1
    For consideration is this lot of 2 vintage Ideal Toy Company Betsy Wetsy Dolls. They measure 12 inches tall and both are marked “Ideal Doll VW1” on the backs of their necks. These are circa the 1950s.
    DOLL WITH OUTFIT

    Her left eye is a little lazy and her cheeks are more brightly blushed. The elastic is stretched and needs replacing in the waistband of the panties and the sleeves of the top. The top closes with a white plastic snap.
    DOLL WITHOUT CLOTHES

    She has 2 dark spots on her face and a green spot on the back of her left ankle.
    These girls have soft rubber bodies and are “drink and wet” dolls. They have rooted hair, blue sleep eyes and an open drinker mouth to accommodate a baby bottle. All fingers and toes are present on both dolls and they both have been cleaned with Witch Hazel and hair washed with Ivory soap. Both are barefoot and no other accessories are included.
