FEATURED:   A classic example of how great design is both useful and attractive, this KNUD HOLSCHER FOR GEORG JENSEN brushed stainless steel hot/cold beverage server will outlast us all while keeping your fresh coffee/hot cider/cocoa delicious to the last drop, or your icy tropical fun drinks/lemonade/ice tea refreshing and lip-smackingly delish!  This server holds a goodly 33 ounces, pours cleanly and easily, and sits attractively on your surface as your beverage butler every day.  Georg Jensen, of course known for fabulous silver and high-end style, also offers practical, timeless items like this, quality-made and of course made to last forever, which this apparently will!  This handsome server was designed in the 1980's by Knud Holscher for the Jensen company, and is a very collectible piece these days.  The designer, a Danish architect and acclaimed industrial designer, as well as a protegee of Arne Jacobsen, was awarded the British Design Award in 1965 & 1966, also an Honorary Royal Designer for Industry since 2004, founded his design firm, Holscher Designs, in 1971, (one of Scandinavia's most famous industrial design firms), famous of household industrial creations like this, and believes that 'Design should be like buttons on a shirt, with character to catch your attention, but no more so than you can use them without thinking about it', and of course this Jensen beverage server fits that description perfectly.  This beverage server is easy to use, has an innovative top that works perfectly every time and a comfortable handle that makes the item easy to pour from, even when full.  Its brushed stainless steel will always look crisp and elegant, and its simple design is a hallmark of Scandi style and design thinking.  It is the little things in our homes that can make such a difference in our daily lives, isn't it?
MEASURES:  7.5 inches tall, 8 inches diameter from spout lip to handle, 6 inches diameter main body.  This holds 33 ounces, can be used for hot or cold beverages. Made in Denmark by the Georg Jensen Company in the 1980's, designed by Knud Hoschler of Hoschler Designs for Jensen, so stated on the bottom.  Item has 3 round feet that elevate this off the surface.  Top is not your typical screw on threaded top, but turns and locks with unique mechanism which allows beverage to be poured without unfastening lid.  In good vintage condition, with normal slight surface small amount of scuffing and scratches typical of stainless steel products, and ready to use and enjoy for many decades ahead year-round. Georg Jensen is known world-wide for elegant, highest quality workmanship and sleek, simple designs that stand the test of time and use, and will last forever, and this beverage server is a great example of that.
