Description

Wood flatware storage chest with a decorative painted crackle finish with two drawers. Condition is "Used".
An attractive storage chest with a painted crackle finish.
The design on the top is of flowered branches and a bird.
The sides and front are painted with flowered a branch.
The back is painted plain without a design.
The condition is excellent; no damage or issues.  The chest has not been in use for a few years and has been carefully packed away after a replacement chest (same manufacturer) was purchased to match the changes that were made to the decor of the home.
The exterior dimensions are 14¼ x 11¼ x 9.
The interior is lined with tarnish resistant, velvet like fabric.
It has a hinged cover and two drawers.
There are
two
antique-colored handles, one on each side, and antique-colored drawer pulls.
(The handles and drawer pulls might be antique brass, but I cannot be certain.)
This chest easily stores a service for 12.
The top space accommodates:
12 knives via slots on the inside cover, and 9 (nine) slots that will store:
12 dinner forks, 12 cake/salad forks, 12 teaspoons, 12 tablespoons, leaving
one slot left to store one or more serving pieces
The
first drawer
has five wide compartments for storing serving pieces.
As the
second drawer
does not have any compartments, one is not limited to what item(s) could be stored in that drawer.
